でも、夜のお風呂は久しぶりのことである。

せっかくだから、旧道の様子を伺って帰ろうか。
予想はしていたが、シャッターの閉じられた町並みは静かである。

横断者は皆無。

視線は温泉通り入口の「オレンジ通り」の看板に移る。
橙色の街灯に、鈍く、照らされている。

消灯したお店の壁をぼんやり照らす街灯。
なぜかしら寂しさが強調される。

私の中では、６０年代後半から７０年代の街のイメージ。
１０年前からあまり変わらない夜の風景か。

意図あってのことなら面白い。
次の手を探りたくなる。

信号が青になった。ゆっくり左折。
温泉通り。

数件のお店に明かりが灯っていた。
なかなか感じの良いお店だ。少し安心。

人は歩いていない。まだ、宵の口だからだろうか。
閑静な雰囲気で、高級な温泉地という感じだ。

でもすぐに、原色を使った２枚の看板が目についた。
どうしてもフロントガラス越しに視野に入る。

この看板は裏通りで映えるのに・・・。
それなりの雰囲気を持っているのだから・・・。

武雄温泉楼門付近。

これが武雄温泉の土曜の夜か・・・。
特段のイベントは何も起こらず、素通り。

右折し、再び旧道にでる。
武雄温泉駅を右手に高橋方面へ向かう。

マックスバリューやツタヤは活気がある。
通りがにぎやかになった。

武雄ロードサイド夜間見物終了。

ラッチを探そう。
